Reginald D. Hicks is an experienced attorney and counselor-of-law who has been advocating for both individual and corporate clients throughout the State of Florida since 1987, primarily litigating civil cases before juries and judges.  He is also experienced in both civil mediation and arbitration.

Attorney Hicks is a native Floridian who grew up in Broward County and earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration — with an emphasis in marketing — and a Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Florida. He was a commissioned officer in the United States Navy, serving honorably until 2002.

Attorney Hicks is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, United States Middle District of Florida, and the United States Southern District of Florida.

Attorney Hicks has also been active in various professional organizations.  He is a past Chair and current Emeritus member of the Florida Board of Bar Examiners, and has served as President of both the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and the F. Malcolm Cunningham Bar Association, as well as being an active member of the National Bar Association and the Virgil Hawkins Affiliate Chapter.

Attorney Hicks is a life member of the NAACP and AMVETS, and has served as General Counsel to several churches and community organizations.  He is a graduate of Leadership Florida, Leadership Orlando, and a member of Florida Blue Key.

Attorney Hicks is a recipient of the 2023 Martindale-Hubbell Award for Ethical Standards & Legal Ability
